Hi,

Originally from Edinburgh, where I run a costume hire hire shop for many years

(Kitbag Costumes) left Edinburgh in 2008 to retire to Rathlin Island.

Rathlin is situated 13  miles from The Mull of Kintyre and 7 miles from Ballycastle

Co Antrim. It is a wonderful place to live (Pop about 90)

The weather is much warmer than in  Edinburgh though we do have huge sea storms

from time to time.  We have 1 Pub 1 Shop and two ferries to the mainland.

A new ferry to Scotland(Cambletown) has just started.

Rathlin has a great bconnection with the well known Black family

Mary and Francis  they often have  gigs here in the summer when all the family meet up

Rathlin also host a great music gig  in July (Rigs & Jigs) Last year we had about

two thousand visitors a great event.

Will drop in next time I am back in Edinburgh
